PMMA bone cement with an antibiotic for the trauma department

The traumatologists of the Dnipro hospital use a complicated technique to treat severe limb injuries and restore broken bones. For this process, doctors use the PMMA bone cement and two antibiotics in a powder form: Gentamycin and Tobramycin.

There are no such antibiotics in powder form in Ukraine, unfortunately. And it‘s tough to find the bone cement. One of the antibiotic bone cement manufacturers is Stryker, and we’re currently trying to reach them.

We’ve handed the “special medicine” today. The bone cement with antibiotics for the traumatology department in Dnipro hospital!

Now traumatologists can use unique techniques to treat severe limb injuries and restore broken bones.
