We handed over a few VAC machines for healing shrapnel wounds earlier. Every VAC machine goes with one disposable canister for one patient, sometimes a couple of canisters for one patient. The cost of the one disposable canister is ~40-45 Euro. The cost and lags in supplies to Ukraine, urge desperate doctors to make canisters re-usable. They drill wholes for further washing and disinfection. This process takes a doctor’s time and can sound like something unbelievable to their foreign colleagues.
We want to save doctors precious time and cover the needs of two hospitals with 50 disposable canisters each.
