Autoclave for the sterilization of the instruments

We now covered the surgical instruments’ washing and disinfection process. The next and the last part of the cleaning process — is sterilization with special devices — autoclaves.

Now the medical staff of this hospital has to carry all instruments after the washing and disinfection to another floor, where the old and the only autoclave is located.

Good news! We’ve already ordered the Melag Vacuklav 24 BL+ (~$7500) autoclave for the money you’ve donated. We’re expecting delivery this weekend and are going to install it and complete the whole process of the instrument cleaning!

23 Jun 2022 Autoclave is delivered and set up. Feedback from a doctor

Thanks to your donations, we bought the autoclave Vacuklav 24BL+ for $7000! Therefore, we covered the whole process of cleaning instruments.

1. Pre-washing with tap water with new sink and crane.
2. Washing and disinfection with the thermodesinfector.
3. Sterilization with the autoclave.
